It all began at university—two students on different campuses who found each other at the Carleton vs. uOttawa rivalry game in 2019 (Carleton won, by the way). That night kicked off something special. Just two more dates later, Lucas and Julia made it official and never looked back.
From there, life together became one big adventure. Over the years, they’ve explored nine countries side by side—from the cobblestone streets of Lisbon to the breathtaking peaks of the Swiss Alps, from beach days in Spain to coastal drives in California. Each trip brought them closer, but their California road trip held a magic of its own—it was Julia’s dream destination, and it became the place where Lucas got down on one knee and asked her to be his forever.
In 2023, fresh from their European summer trip, they welcomed their first little addition to the family: a playful girl cat named Sunny.
Then, in early 2024, another chapter began: they became first-time homeowners, buying a cozy home in the south of Kanata.
Their shared love of travel has been one of the cornerstones of their relationship. So when it came time to plan a wedding, the idea of celebrating this next chapter somewhere beautiful and far from home just felt right. A destination wedding wasn't just a choice—it was them.

We ask that men wear a button up shirt (tie and jacket optional). Women wear long dresses with florals or pastels. Colours and patterns are encouraged! Think of a formal garden party.

Roundtrip Airport Transfers
You will receive round trip transportation between the Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) & the Majestic Mirage Punta Cana resort. Private transfers also available.
All Inclusive Food & Beverages
Enjoy access to a variety of restaurants, buffets, bars, & lounges with unlimited dining & drink options. Good thing vacation calories don’t count!
Taxes & Fees
The price of your room covers everything you need for your stay including taxes & fees. No hidden fees!

Booking inside the room block serves as your RSVP to the wedding & registers your attendance to all related events

A pool lover’s dream! These suites are located on the ground floor & feature a terrace with a jacuzzi, a private garden with direct access to the pool, & sun-loungers. Also featuring butler service, a bathroom with a bathtub & walk-in shower, a mini bar, & 24-hour room service. 1,000 sq. ft.
Mirage Club Ocean View Suite with Outdoor Jacuzzi

Our wedding is exclusively booked through BlueSun Weddings. Your Guest Package to attend is not secured until you have booked your room through this website.
PAYMENT SCHEDULE
October 17, 2025: 50% payment due & deadline to add optional Cancellation Protection
December 12, 2025: Payment in Full is due
IMPORTANT: Reservations made after the 50% payment date are subject to resort availability & rates & are not confirmed until the required payments & full travel details are received.

We have reserved a variety of room options for our guests from 3-7 nights around our wedding date. If you’d like to extend your stay or explore additional room options, please reach out to your Reservations Coordinator for availability!

AIRPORT TRANSFERS
When you submit your flights at least 45 days before travel, your airport transfers will be included in your package from the Punta Cana (PUJ) airport to Majestic Mirage Resort.
Our team will be reaching out to you in the weeks before travel to collect your flight information for your airport transfers.
FLIGHTSAirfare is not included in your guest package.
Booking airfare directly with the airline can provide the most flexible change and cancelation policies.
You'll also have the option to add flights to your package when filling out your trip details - this will require an additional deposit at the time of booking.

Mirage Club is an Adults Only part of the resort while the Family Club is family friendly & allows guests of all ages. They both come with the following perks & give guests access to the two next door sister resorts.:

Yes! Booking excursions before you arrive in destination is a great way to guarantee availability of your preferred date & time.

All that is needed to secure your reservation is a $100 USD room deposit! You will then be sent invoices prior to the two required due dates.
If you’d like to make payments before the required due dates, please email our Reservations Coordinator the *amount you’d like to put towards your reservation.
*A minimum amount of $250 USD is required for payments made outside of the required due dates.

Cancellation Protection will be offered & will need to be purchased to receive a refund on payments.
Cancellation Protection allows you to cancel your trip for ANY reason at least one business day before the reservation start date.
You will not be required to provide any reason when canceling. We simply need to receive your request, in writing, at least one business day before your reservation start date. THAT'S IT!
You'll receive more insights & a chance to opt into Cancellation Protection before your 50% payment date.
The $100 USD deposit is non-refundable with or without Cancellation Protection.
