How we met:
Living within the same community, our paths crossed multiple times throughout the decades. There was a chance encounter in the dairy section of a local grocery store where it started with a small conversation about living through COVID. The conversation then continued with a message on social media and we met for hot cocoa and a walk in the snow, followed by car karaoke. I impressed him with my musical knowledge and, after many long phone conversations, we knew it was something special.
The Proposal:
It was Valentine's Day 2023, and Ken made dinner arrangements after work. We enjoyed a four-course meal at a local restaurant in downtown, Charlottesville. Conversation throughout dinner flowed naturally and according to Ken "The night was right & the mood was right." Juanika had no idea what Ken really had planned after paying the tab. Ken started professing his love for Juanika and thoughts of forever together. Ken pulled out a little black box after asking, "Will you marry me?" Juanika was in complete shock and denial of what was taking place. Ken looked into her eyes, opened the box, and waited patiently for an answer. Juanika, asked over & over if this was real before finally answering, “Yes!”

Yes, you’ll need a passport. Please make sure your passport is valid at least 6 months after getting back from the trip. If you need a new passport, get started as soon as possible to avoid delays. For more info visit the travel.state.gov website.

No, airfare is not included in your guest package. We recommend booking airfare directly with the airline for the most flexible change and cancelation policies. Creating a Google Flight alert can help you track airfare pricing by sending you fare updates. Find out more information about flight alerts HERE.

All that is needed to secure your reservation is a $100 room deposit! You will then be automatically sent invoices prior to the two required due dates.
If you’d like to make payments before the required due dates, please email our Reservations Coordinator with the *amount you’d like to put towards your reservation.
*A minimum amount of $250 is required for payments made outside of the required due dates.
